I/M Readiness

EVAP System Test
Let you initiate a leak of test for the vehicle’s EVAP system. This is a specific mode 8 command that tells your car to start a test of the ‘evaporative emission control system’ (mechanics call it ‘evap’ for short) that prevents fuel from evaporating out of your tank and contributing to smog.
